Behind African Sunrise Expedition are we, an Austrian couple with a great love for Africa, its fantastic people and its breathtaking nature. In 2024, we realized our shared vision and founded a travel company that offers authentic safari experiences & mountain tours in Tanzania, as well as relaxing holidays in Zanzibar. Our motivation was clear: to create unforgettable trips where sustainability, quality and personal care are the focus.
Our company is a joint project that we founded together with our Tanzanian partner, a true expert with many years of experience in tourism. Together, we run the company across two continents: we take care of personal consulting and planning in Austria, while our partner is responsible for operational implementation on site in Tanzania. This close, equal collaboration combines know-how from both worlds - for trips that are thoughtfully planned and authentic down to the last detail.
We also work with selected, experienced partner companies in Tanzania - from safari and mountain guides to lodges. These close cooperations enable individual tours where we can flexibly respond to your wishes. At the same time, we specifically support the local economy. For you, this means: a personal, responsible travel experience with the good feeling of booking with people who stand behind what they do with heart and conviction.
