Behind African Sunrise Expedition are us, Michael and Christina, an Austrian couple with a deep passion for Africa, its breathtaking landscapes, and the unique encounters that make this continent so extraordinary. In 2024, we turned our shared vision into reality and founded African Sunrise Expedition, a travel company dedicated to authentic safaris, Kilimanjaro adventures, and tailor made journeys to Zanzibar. Our mission is to create journeys that are personally planned, sustainably designed, and crafted with great attention to detail, turning every trip into a truly unforgettable experience.
Our team and partners in Tanzania are led by Freddy, who lives in Moshi and has many years of experience in the tourism industry. We work exclusively with carefully selected and experienced partners, from safari and mountain guides to high quality lodges and accommodations. This allows us to create individually tailored journeys while supporting local value creation and sustainable tourism.
We combine personal travel consulting from Austria with genuine local expertise in Tanzania. While we guide you through the planning and organization of your journey, our team on the ground ensures the smooth execution of your trip. Through this close collaboration across two continents, we create authentic and thoughtfully designed travel experiences, personally planned and brought to life with great passion.
