Behind African Sunrise Expedition are Michael and Christina, an Austrian couple with a deep passion for Africa, its breathtaking nature, and the unique encounters that make this continent so special. In 2024, we turned our shared vision into reality and founded African Sunrise Expedition: a travel company specializing in authentic safaris, Kilimanjaro adventures, and tailor-made journeys to Zanzibar. As project managers in the construction and IT sectors, we combine our extensive management experience with our passion for Africa to design journeys that are personally planned, well thought-out, and truly authentic. Our goal is to make every trip a safe and unforgettable experience.
Our team and partners in Tanzania and Kenya are coordinated by Freddy, who lives in Moshi and has extensive experience in tourism. In both countries, we work exclusively with selected and experienced partners, from safari and mountain guides to high-quality lodges and accommodations. This results in individually tailored trips that combine authentic experiences with local value creation and sustainable tourism.
In doing so, we combine personal travel consulting from Austria with genuine local expertise in Tanzania and Kenya. While we accompany you in the planning and organization, our team on the ground ensures the smooth implementation of your trip. Through this close collaboration across two continents, authentic and thoughtful travel experiences are created, personally planned and implemented with great passion.
