The itinerary of the Safari Blue Tour

In the morning, you will be picked up from your hotel and taken to Fumba Village in the southwest of Zanzibar. The tour starts around 9:30 a.m.

After a brief welcome, you will board a traditional handcrafted mahogany dhow to head out into the Indian Ocean. The boats are comfortably equipped and include amenities such as sun protection, life jackets, snorkeling equipment, and chilled drinks.

Throughout the day, you will explore the beautiful Menai Bay, one of the most stunning marine nature areas in East Africa.

The tour includes several stops:

• Snorkeling at colorful coral reefs
• Relaxing on a tropical sandbank
• Swimming in a mangrove lagoon
• Visiting Kwale Island
• Sailing on the traditional dhow
• Opportunity for dolphin watching

An additional highlight is the giant baobab tree on Kwale Island, which you can visit and even climb.

In the afternoon, you will return leisurely to Fumba before being transferred back to your hotel.

The famous Safari Blue Lunch

For many guests, the lunch is one of the absolute highlights of the tour.

A fresh Swahili seafood buffet is served, including:
