Itinerary
Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be greeted by our team and driven directly to Kilimanjaro National Park. There, you will embark on a hike on the lower slopes of Africa's highest mountain. You will experience a fascinating landscape of lush forests and clear streams before spending the night in a comfortable lodge nearby.
Today, you will travel to the rugged yet beautifully scenic areas of Lake Natron. During the drive, you will witness constantly changing landscapes, from volcanic terrain to the Maasai villages that characterize the region. Upon arrival at Lake Natron, you will experience a unique salt lake known for its pink flamingos and surreal colors. In the evening, you will visit a waterfall where you can refresh.
After a morning walk along the shores of Lake Natron, you will head towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The drive takes you through picturesque plains and along the East African Rift. In the afternoon, you will reach Ngorongoro, where you can enjoy breathtaking views of the crater landscape. You will stay near the crater and prepare for tomorrow's exploration.
Early in the morning, you will descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known as the "Eden of Africa." Here, you will encounter an incredible variety of wildlife, including lions, elephants, zebras, and with some luck, the rare black rhino. After a picnic at the Ngoitoktok Hippo Pool, you will continue your journey and reach Lake Manyara National Park, where you will spend the night.
The final day of your safari takes you to Lake Manyara National Park. Known for its tree-climbing lions and a variety of bird species, the park offers an impressive diversity in a small area. After an extensive game drive and lunch, you will drive back to Arusha or the airport, where your unforgettable journey ends.
