This seven-day safari takes you through the most spectacular landscapes of northern Tanzania – from the green Lake Manyara to the endless plains of the Serengeti and the fascinating Ngorongoro Crater. On this journey, you will experience an impressive variety of wildlife, breathtaking views, and exciting insights into early human history. Ideal for those who want to compactly and intensively experience Tanzania's major highlights. We and our local guides continually
take care of you so that you can enjoy your expedition to the fullest.

Welcome to Tanzania! Upon landing at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed and taken to your accommodation in or near Arusha. The rest of the day is free for you to acclimatize and get your first impressions of the country.
Today, your safari adventure begins in the scenic Lake Manyara National Park. The park is known for its diverse vegetation, abundant birdlife, and the famous tree-climbing lions. You will embark on an extensive game drive along the lake, through dense forests, and open savannas.
Two days of pure safari in the world-renowned Serengeti – home to the "Big Five" and the Great Migration. You will traverse different regions of the Serengeti, experience vast savannah landscapes, and with some luck, spot lions, cheetahs, elephants, and wildebeests up close. Early morning game drives offer excellent wildlife sightings.
En route to Ngorongoro, you will visit the significant Olduvai Gorge with its small yet impressive museum – a central site for early human history. The route then takes you through the green highlands of the Ngorongoro region with spectacular views, traditional Maasai areas, and misty forests.
A highlight of the journey: you descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a true natural wonder and UNESCO World Heritage Site. During your game drive on the crater floor, you have the best chances to observe elephants, lions, hippos, antelopes, and even the rare black rhinoceros – all in a compact area.
After breakfast, it's time to bid farewell. Your driver will take you back to Kilimanjaro International Airport, where you will begin your journey back home – with a heart full of memories and a camera full of pictures.
Tanzania offers unforgettable safari experiences throughout the year. The landscapes, climate, and wildlife viewing opportunities vary depending on the season.
The dry season is considered the optimal time to visit:
Weather: Sunny days, pleasant temperatures between 20 and 30 °C. Nights cool down to 10 to 15 °C in higher regions like the Serengeti.
Highlights: Witness the spectacular "Great Migration" – huge herds of wildebeest and zebras moving through the Serengeti. The Tarangire National Park and Ngorongoro Crater also impress with high animal densities.
The green season delights nature lovers and photographers:
Weather: Warm and pleasant, 25 to 32 °C during the day. Rainfall is usually short and intense.
Highlights: The landscape is lush green. Perfect for birdwatchers as many migratory birds are present. You can also witness young animals in their natural habitat.**
Despite heavier rainfall, Tanzania remains impressive:
Weather: Rainy, but the landscape flourishes.
Highlights: Particularly picturesque with high animal concentrations at water sources. Popular areas like the Serengeti National Park remain accessible. Some roads and paths may be challenging to pass, adding a real sense of adventure to the journey.
